Yo!
So the yesterday I slept in for a long time. Like too long. After waking up and eating an extraordinary lunch consisting of two eggs, a can of tuna and a package of noodles, I sat down in the basement/kitchen/common room of our hostel. There I took advantage of the free wifi and drew some pictures.
I tried to get Henrik out of bed but he is still feeling like a bag of... poo. This meant I spent almost the entire day just sitting on my arse. Enough about that.
Emma, the swede who kindly offered her apartment to us, got of work and we decided to hit town. Me, her and Henrik. We went to a little chinese restaurant and ordered dumplings. This is the first time I've tried them and I must say that they were kind of nice. Wasn't the greatest piece of food I've ever eaten, but it was far from the worst. Yum?
After eating we headed for the tram to get to a pub in the "outskirts" of town. On our way there though, Henrik descided not to come. He was feeling really ill again he said. Bah, wuss (hehe). So it ended up being just me and Emma until we reached the pub, where we met up with Lisa. Lisa is an australian that, if I understood it correctly, is from Melbourne and lives here.
We drank some beer and listened to some live bands and generally had a good time. After a while Lisa was getting tired and Emma had to catch a plane in the morning, so we left. We went back the twenty minute tram ride to the city centre, found a hidden bar, and had a few more beers. All in all a fun but kind of calm night.
I went to bed and fell asleep before my head hit my pillow.
Today was spent almost the same way with the exception of drinking. We ate pizza about an hour ago (cheap tuesdays rocks) and now I'm sitting here again, drawing (and writing).
Hope I didn't bore you guys out of your skull! Tomorrow is my first work day and I've been told it is between nine and one. Could be nice with a shorter first day.
