Kangaroo steak and parties

Well, hello there.

What has happened the last week? You sure you wanna know? Okey, I'll tell ya.

Proud to say there has been a lot of partying, drinking and general banter (that's an irish term btw). I have been to new places, old places, places that are underground, places that are mainstream, cool places, boring places and places who serve beer in general. It has been awesome at the most part, and with the exception of hangovers, trouble free.

Jakob and Henrik

Is that a cool toilet or what?

I am still doing kitchen hand work. I don't work too much and not too little. I am currently saving about $ 0 a week, drinking good, eating good and having all out fun. I've been drawing, playing ukelele and chatting with a lot of people. I have also tried kangaroo, and it was really good, let me tell you.

The restaurant/pub we ate at was cozy in a woodwork, dimmed lights kind of way. The kangaroo was cooked like nothing else. Tender and juicy. With that bearnaise sauce and strips (or chips like australians and englishmen says). It was glorious. And I took no photo. Well. I'll just have to eat it again I suppose. What ya' gonna' do?

In other news, me and Henrik are talking a lot about when and how to go to Asia. I have begun missing people at home, but I am not ready to go home yet at all (sorry dad). What else? There's a bunch of swedes at our hostel! It seems like everyday there arrives at least one more "new" swede. It's nice, and boring at the same time. Don't we all wast to be just a little special?

One of the new guys is Jakob. Me and him have been going out since Henrik is away so much. He's a real cool guy and a lot of fun to be around. We even went to an art gallery (free beer!). Here's some pictures from it:

I think that's it for now. Smell ya later!

'Ello

Hi guys, 'ello ther' and so on and so forth.

Was looking through my mobile photos on the way to work today. The only photoes from saturday night was a line of about eight tequilas. Maybe it wasn't so weird I had a really bad hangover.

Anyways I've decided  to never again work while hungover. This means I'll have to stop working completely. The only other option I might consider is to not drink when I'm working the next day. Canät decide which is best though. I'll have to think about that.

While discovering the tequila photos, I also discovered some others that I thought I might share. Let's see...

Um... Yeah.

So I think I took this photo for the soul purpose of showing you guys back home, that australians have the weirdest names. Not only can you travel to Traralgon, you can also travel to Nar-nar-goon, Bunyip and for you gamers out there; Albion. Hmmm, what else.

Ah yes. The trainstop in Armadale, where I arrive each time I go to work, and my actual work place. The big ugly metalmachine to the left is the dishwasher which I try to keep in constant action during my work day. Inside the now black doorway straight in is the restaurant itself. Maybe I should snap a few pictures there as well. The restaurant itself is quite more attractive then the kitchen. To be fair you only see about half of the kitchen, if that. There is as much space to the right as you can see here and I'm standing in the doorway, which means the far side of the kitchen is out of picture. But yeah. At least now you have some kind of picture of it.

That's about that for now good people. It's kind of cold at the moment. Around 18 degrees and raining. Should be warmer soon though. I've heard it could go upwards to about 40 degrees in summer time. Can't fuckin' wait.

Cya's!

Working hungover deja vu?

Hi people!

I realise I've become worse and worse updating this thing. Maybe it is because I do a lot of important stuff during my days. Maybe I haven't got time between saving the world and becoming a better person. Maybe I'm lazy. Who knows?

Me and Henrik are still in Melbourne. I am still working as a kitchenhand and Henrik is doing small odd jobs that the agency here sets him up on.

Henrik and Chris

Two random guys

So about the title. I have had one of those, lying in bed and reading, kind of days. I washed my clothes, which is about as much good as I did. Oh, I took a shower as well. The day before yesterday I satyed in the hostel at the bar downstairs, where I drank myself silly. After playing twister with some random people, the next thing I remember is sitting at McDonalds, eating half a menu. When the menu was half-done, I remember running out and throwing up on the side-walk. Yes, I am proud of my actions (No, not really). The next thing I remember is going to sleep in my bed.

I woke up 9:30 yesterday. I started work at 9:30. Since we haven't invented teleportation yet, It played out as the following; I was an hour late for work. Now, don't be alarmed at home, the guys working there are really kind and understanding. And besides, I wasn't suppose to work yesterday at all. I just did it as a favour. Either way I came there 10:30 and left, all done, at 18:30. As you could imagine I wasn't feeling my best. I was actually so hungover, the water I drank for breakfast I had to get rid of again, halfway to work. I literaly hat to get off the train, and then take the next one. Blurgh.

I came home, sat by my computer for an hour, then went to bed.

I bought a book about three days ago. It is called American Gods and is super weird. No, I mean REALLY weird. It is kind of interesting though. And I am somehow drawn to read more and more of it.

Now me and Henrik are going to watch Gone in sixty seconds. This week before we saw such masterpieces as Con Air, The Thing (from 86') and Hellraiser one and two. Glorious.

I'll try to update a little more in the future but as always I can't make any promises. I am a busy man!

Cya!

Hangover working

Yo peeps.

Today was a slow day. I woke up around twelve, but didn't move out of bed until around two. Took a shower. Shaved. Felt like a new man.

Why so tired you might ask? Well, the day before yesterday I worked at the beginning of the day, and then me and Chris (picture) went out partying. Chris is an english dude who also happens to be a crazy fucker. He is however a nice guy as well, which ment that we were out partying until around three at night. We ate a burger at McDonalds (yummy) and then went home to sleep. The next day I went up at about 9:30 and went to work and I worked until around 6:30. Easy to say, I was nackered. At least I got some free food. And let me tell you, it was tasty.

After the shower and shaving, me and chris went to McDonalds again and then I sat down to draw and wifi. Henrik dropped by from his trip this weekend and we watched Hellraiser. It was awesome, and really bad at the same time. The special effects were amazing, just like those of 'The Thing' which me and Henrik watched a couple of days ago. After the movie I ate some sushi and then chatted some with Johannes from home. Now, I'm tired again, and I'm going to bed soon.

That's about it for now!

Talk to you guy later.

The death of a friend

Hi.

A long time friend and trusted ally died the day before yesterday.

May you rest in piece little pen tablet. You served me well.

In other news I already replaced it! I bought a new intous 4 medium tablet which is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. I've also started working on a freelance job that I hope will pay for the entire tablet. Woop woop!

The wifi I bought is kinda sucky. It's slow, unstable and generally a royal pain in the - bum. Global gossip is the name of the game. Keep to the free wifi people.

I had a close encounter with the wildlife of Melbourne the other day. I was sitting and drinking beer with a few friends when this giant flying cockroach landed right on my hand (at least 7 cm long). I flicked it off as any normal person would do. I did it very calmly in a very manly fashion as well. It ran across the table a few times before it flew away again. Creepy crawlies indeed. Thank god for living in Sweden where you know nothing can really kill you, and the bugs are at a more managable size. *shudder*

I still haven't taken any photos of my work yet. I seem to forget everytime I leave there. Here are some of the room at least so you guys at home know how I'm living at the moment.

They're taken from the glorious perspective that is my bed (hello ladies) and depict a rather small room, filled with three bunkbeds (a total of six people).

The weather is slowly getting better and a few days ago it was about 25 degrees outside, which is pretty damned close to a swedish summer. Yay for weather! Here's some photos from when I was sitting outside and enjoying the weather. Interesting huh?

Last but not least I think I may have worn my contacts a tad too early. It feels like that in my eyes at least. Crossing my fingers I haven't prolonged my nerd-situation with another month.

Cya's mother lovers!

The buying of a three day pass

Hola!

I just bought a three day pass for the wifi at the hostel we are staying at. So far it seems to work okey. A bit slow and a tiny bit unstable. I'll give you a full review in the days to pass!

I can finally upload some pictures again, and I do have some. Some are just random shots in Melb with friends, others are digital pictures; Space suits, environments and tattoo designs. This update could turn out a tiny bit messy but there's a lot of things I haven't been able to keep you guys updated on. Let's a go!

Two random ones at first. These are from the drunken the weekend before last week. It's me prior to going out (gods, I hate wearing glasses). The other one is from two friends, Emma and Kim, who was two of the people out partying with me. Emma is also the one we stayed at the first nights in Melbourne if you've been reading since then. Let's move on!

These are a little older. It's me and Henrik having a night out at one of the hidden bars. Hidden bars have a tendency to look really horrible on the outside, and really underground but 'clean' on the inside. Can't even remember the name of this one. I have to start taking more pictures of them though. It's just so dark in a lot of them!

Melbourne central. This place is kind of cool. It's like a big mall and in the centre is an older building. They've built like a sphere all over it and around it is the four or five storied mall. It's also here they have cheap drinks (for ladies actually. But if you know any ladies just bring 'em and have them buy you stuff. Oh yeah.). The place we were at the last time was Asian beer cafe. It's a nice place and it get's packed on the cheap nights.

This is our current leech-spot. As you can see it's perfect to stand just beside the store and just leech their wifi. Three thumbs up! This was also the place that reminded me of Noosa. Go back and check it out if you don't remember what I'm babbeling about.

These are from the art central in Melbourne. Me and Henrik went there, looked at some nice pieces of art (and some crappy ones), then went back and had sushi. The elk pictured was really cool. There was also a piece of modern art that was accoustic. The water in the pool had a small current in it that forced the plates floating to hit eachother sofly, creating small plings and plongs. Was actually one of those modern things that you could appriciate without wondering if the artist was a retard. It was a good day and we said we'll go back again since it's just next to another arts centre thing. The other art centre looks a bit like a small Eiffel tower. Or a net hat. I don't know. Maybe I have a picture of it...

...There it is! The white tower in the background. Also reviewing the pictures on top, the elk sculpture looks really tiny. It's actually really big. Life-like even. Anyway, moving on.

I've had time to do some more digital paintings and I've tried finishing them up. The top and second one I think I'm done with and will leave as is. THe last one is my tattoo design that I'm still playing around with A LOT. It keeps evolving. I want to be totally satisfied before I actually do it though.

Now it's time for sushi and a movie. See you guys in the days to come!

Quack quack!
